Ok, this is getting ridiculous

I'm just going to start listing stuff here from this year so that I can come back and play it once I feel like I've got enough through my pile of shame (which should happen mid 2013):
Borderlands 2
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Dishonoured
Torchlight 2
Guild Wars 2
Thirty Flights of Loving
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
Love (free to play release)
Day Z
Realm of the Mad God
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
Legend of Grimrock
Crusader Kings II
Spec Ops: The Line
The Secret World
Just Cause 2 multiplayer
Black Mesa
Natural Selection 2

Note that about a third of the list is massively multiplayer in some shape or form...

Great games each and every one and I probably own half the shame.

But we shall wear it as a badge of honor!

Hi Andrew,

Can I deduce from this list that you have already played FTL ( http://www.ftlgame.com/ ) ? If not, I recommend it quite a lot. At least give the trailer a look. Their devs might actually be good candidates to talk to in roguelikeradio (if you stretch the definition of roguelike enough).

I've been playing it the whole weekend - that an Black Mesa: Source. Both awesome.

Great little list of games you have there.

Feel free to drop me a line when you get into Realm of the Mad God. I'll be more than happy to get along and/or give you a jump start.

Yeah, another +1 for FTL. Despite my list of shame being almost as big, I played FTL all weekend. Great little game, and just 'roguelike-ish' enough to keep me coming back for more.

Sins is good. I am yearning for XCOM and Borderlands 2, definitely.

Kikito: I bought FTL after I realised it would otherwise be in this list :)

Everyone: In case it isn't clear, my pile of shame is a whole other pile...

I already have a shut-ins style gaming fest planned with my brother over Thanksgiving. The Game: Borderlands 2.

I recommend checking out The Secret World sooner than later, I'm not convinced it'll last the distance unfortunately.

Agree with Secret World. Unfortunately, my first pass cull through the list is going to be 'games I can play for $20 or less', which means I'll have to wait a while...
