Just added a few gaming related links: to Home of the Underdogs and Play This Game. And while I was trawling through Play This Game site, I came across FastCrawl, a commercial roguelike game. Haven't tried the demo yet, but it looks good. It was also the 2006 RPG Game of the Year according to Game Tunnel.

Unfortunately, FastCrawl doesn't seem to be the stablest thing -- on three different PCs I've tried it on it runs poorly in three different ways. It's an intriguing game and design and I would have registered it if I was able to play it.
Yes, nice demo. Had no problem with stability, though I am not sure if I dare try it again on my Vista machine.
Played it for hours and hours before I put it on my "to buy when monies accumulate and spare time allows" list.
It rests below Dungeon Delvers (in dev at http://www.crosscutgames.com) and a few others.
If you're going to pay monies for a roguelike (and I don't see why you'd want to unless it offers some SUPERIOR features) I'd say go for Fate http://games.wildtangent.com/fate/ which is essentially either a 3D roguelike or a roguelike mated with Diablo II as it involves far more randomization than Diablo II was capable of but keeps elements of better art than roguelikes (I've been playing for years and just can't seem to get into ASCII as much anymow ;) ) as well as a gambling and enchanting feature. Well worth the trial download anyhow ;)
