Far more interesting than the recent release of another Dwarf Fortress visualizer, is this wiki page discussing computation using Dwarf Fortress. I look forward to a Gnu-DF module, followed shortly by a self-hosting Dwarf Fortress release.

I remember being involved in some of the initial discussions on the DF forums about the potential for fluid logic even before the relevant features were released, just announced. Half the folks were designing logic gates and generally acting like total geeks (myself included) and the other half were yelling at the first half to shut up because that is the most ridiculous and boring thing they'd ever heard and we were clogging up the "Future of the Fortress" thread.
