I'm proud and a little misty-eyed to see that the denizens of rec.games.roguelike.development have organised the International Roguelike Development Conference 2008, to be held in Berlin this year on the 21st - 22nd of September. If it had been October, I would have been able to attend - as it is, I'll be looking forward to the live web streaming / YouTube videos with interest.
